Moment

It was my last day of work at ABS-CBN last August 31. I requested for contract termination so I could go to Multimedia Training Classes.
A change of career? Yes and not perhaps. This is what I have always wanted. And this is wahat I'am going to do.
I left a lot regrets in that company.
1. Regrets of poeple whom I never got the chance to meet.
2. Regrets of tasks that I did not do.
3. Regrets of relationships that failed.
4. Regrets of hopes that did not come true.
Some of the times where nice. Yes, especially that there was stoppage of work due to the Luzon wide brownout (caused by a super typhoon, around two days ago). Haha, remember how I entertained everyone (process & business intelligence groups) with my jokes, stories & magic tricks? haha. I was using Card Captor cards then since the standard playing cards were not available.
Or about that time that I show my yoyo tricks.
I just realized that I never had a chance to get a drink with these guys.
I dont want to sound too cheesy. I mean leaving the place was alright. Hey, nothing lasts forever right?
Hey and wait, I finally got that short moment with my crush ^__^. She was at a line to check if the consultants salary have already been transferred to her account. So me being interested too if the salry is available, asked her.
Yey, I finally got to hear her voice in snentences that were directed to me. She looks really neat & cute ^__^ How i love that pony tail.
I also like star shaped pins.
We went up the elevator together to the IT office, and I opened the door for her. And she said thank you.
Whew, at least I got that moment with her before I leave that company.
See you around. ^__^
in loving memory

I've learned today...
I'm now attending web design classes at the Philippine Center for Creative Imaging (PCCI). I am particulary training on Dreamweaver CS3. The training started last Tuesday and will end tomorrow, Thursday. It started out with the Web Design Fundamentals seminar last monday.
So far it was very enlightening. Very enlightening & very useful.
Well, one lesson (way of thinking, principle, etc etc, whatever you might call it) that i have learned was that to have an efficient & effective website, is that you have to consider the STRUCTURE first.
Yes, a clean code will help you a lot, especially in assigning style sheets (CSS) and other design aspects.
Also, web sites are expected to conform with the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Standards. Yes, there are standards, that we wbe site developers, designers, bloggers should follow when designing/coding our sites.
Visit the site here www.w3.org
One of the sites features are the Mark-up Language Validator. This validates websites source codes and displays errors based on the HTML/XHTML standards.
Well, I tested my blog and here's my result.
Haha, of course it was Tabulas that generated the code for this site, but I have tampered it a little hehe. Guess i'll clean up my code one of these days, or i'll overhaul this again (for the second time! haha!). But that time i might be using Dreamweaver ;p
You can test you site too.. just click here & follow the instructions on the screen. Also you can run some other diagnostic tests to validate your website/blog. You can click here.
Hey, even for us blogger's its our responsibility in complying with the standards. Let us code well & code clean. Let us make this a practice. Right Sir Datu*? hehe
* Sir Datu Arellano is our instructor for the Dreamweaver CS3 Course. He is an acclaimed web designer. His Anino Website won in the Philippine Web Awards last 2006. anino.sining.net
The worst kinds of people

I ought to title this one "The Worst Kinds of Friends". But you can't call anyone who has forgotten you that easy as a friend.
Once i received a text message. It goes something like:
" Sometimes we build walls around us not to keep people away...
But to know which ones will care enough to break the walls just to be with us..."
Yes, very very true. That says it all.
It's so disappointing to feel like you never existed. That you we're never a part of their lives at one time. We'll its about time we realize that they are not worth our times, they are not worth wasting hopes and wasting memories. (Reminds me of the song Thks 4 d mmrs, hehe).
Oh well.
And to my few, remaining true friends, Thanks...
especially Tin I., Kat B., Grace O.. i hope to meet more of your kind..
